Right of withdrawal

Information on the right of withdrawal and model withdrawal form. Applies to buying the Premium or Standard plan on michal.kids (PayU, BLIK, Revolut).

In short. You have 14 days from purchase to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. An email to support@michal.kids is enough. If at purchase you asked for the plan to start right away, we refund the money minus the days the plan was already active. If you did not ask for that, we refund the full amount. Bought the plan in the App Store? You claim withdrawal and the refund directly from Apple – see “Purchases in Google Play and the App Store” below.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract (the day of purchase).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us – DevOps Jakub Pazdyga, ul. Powstańców Śląskich 57a, 44-361 Syrynia, Poland, email: support@michal.kids – of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract.

How we calculate the amount for days used

We calculate the amount for days used as follows: the price of the paid period divided by the number of days in that period and multiplied by the number of days from the start of the plan to the day before you sent your withdrawal statement. We round to the full cent in your favour. We refund the rest.

Example: an annual Standard plan for 129.99 zł, statement sent on day 11 of the plan: 129.99 zł ÷ 365 days × 10 days = 3.56 zł, we refund 126.43 zł.

If a renewal was bought before the end of the current period, days are counted from the start of the new period; if you withdraw before the new period starts, we refund the full amount of the renewal.

The request to start the service before the withdrawal period ends is made at purchase – by ticking the box at payment asking for the plan to start right away. We repeat the text of this request with its date and time in the purchase confirmation email. If there was no such request, you pay nothing when withdrawing within the period and we refund the full amount.

The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after purchase. It would end earlier only if the service were fully performed before then – this does not happen with a monthly or annual plan, so starting the plan right away does not shorten these 14 days.

Purchases in Google Play and the App Store

A plan bought in the app through Google Play or the App Store is billed by the store.
