We built MichalKids because we are parents ourselves. We were looking for an app that protects children without spying on them. We couldn't find one. So we built it as a family.
The name comes from Archangel Michael — a guardian and defender.
Dad – Jakub Pazdyga, an educator (education degree specialising in IT education) with more than 20 years of experience in IT – writes the code. Mom creates content and runs campaigns. The older children design graphics and educational games. The youngest are the toughest testers – if a preschooler can't press the SOS button, the button is badly designed.
